Division of Four Armoured and a Dog

The book, along with the DVD is a monograph celebrating the 40th anniversary of the popular serial. The disc features unpublished, archival ‘on-the-set’ materials from this cult series. The DVD pressed by GM Records, consists of, among others, a documentary of 1995, entitled "Czterej pancerni i pies, czyli jak zdobywano Dziki Zachód" (Division of Four Armoured and a Dog, i.e. how the Wild West was conquered) (part I and II), materials documenting the production of the second season of the series, a visit on the set of episode 14th, called the "Red Series", which was shot in January 1968, as well as the production of the third season, along with the visit on the set of episode 19th "Tiergarten" of 1969. Moreover, the DVD features an interview given by Janusz Gajos to Irena Dziedzic for Tele-Echo TV show in 1967.

"The Armoured Club" which is the one but last episode of the so called ‘first campaign’ and was broadcast on TV on May 17, 1974 shall make a genuine collector’s item. Another curiosity can be the excerpts of "The Armoured and the Dog" play staged in 1974 by the Musical Theatre of Gdynia, along with an interview of the play director, Danuta Baduszkowa.

- The DVD we have just pressed is a perfect example of how a classic book publication can be enriched with multimedia. Readers who familiarise themselves with the content of the book can watch film materials complementing it. Visualisation is value added and turns readers of traditional books into their viewers at the same time – says Bernard Lubański, Sales and Marketing Department Executive at GM Records.
