GM Records Employees for Asia
It was during the last week that the action of funds rising began among the employees of the GM Records Company. On Wednesday morning, everyone working in the office building received via internal mail an information about the purpose of the funds raising and the places where the boxes imitating money boxes were located. Later, they were only waiting for the results.
During the 7-day action which was carried out only in the office building of the Company the total amount of 1294,61 PLN was collected.
- Nobody can sit quietly by a tragedy in which more than 150 thousand people die. Whilst watching an enormous scale of devastation on TV, each of us willingly joined this initiative. We are aware that in the face of the needs, the sum that has been collected is not big. However, we have not done it to boast about the numbers, we have done it, above all, for the need of our hearts. We have proved to others that everybody can do something to make a contribution to help. I think that we have pointed out the direction correctly. A single contribution may seem not too big, but if we multiple it by all the employees of all the companies in the world – wonders Matylda Nosowska, Marketing Specialist at GM Records.
The GM Records Company, being a tycoon in the disk pressing industry, has been supporting many charity initiatives for years already. However, the publishing of the information on institutions supported and amounts donated for their activities is not in accordance with the company’s communicative policy. The information on our employees’ action has been considered as special because it is inspiration for all the people working in other companies.
- As the GM Records Company we have been supporting charity initiatives for many years. However, we have never boasted about that. Only those whom we have provided with donations know about our support. If we help, we do it to bring assistance not to flaunt that. The action organised by the GM Records office employees speaks for fact that the Company’s charity policy we have been carrying out for long time complies with the inner needs of our employees.
