“Peter and the Wolf” is the story of transformation of a clumsy boy who – with the help of his friends, a bird and duck – faces up to a wolf, becoming a true hero. Aside from its Oscar nomination, the film received two of the most important awards at the International Animated Film Festival in Annecy, France – the Annecy Cristal and the Audience Award.
“Peter and the Wolf” is a puppet animation on which an international team of more than 100 people worked. The author of the realistic and unusually detailed scenography is Marek Skrobecki, who worked amongst others on Steven Spielberg’s film “Schindler’s List”. Photography for the film was created by Hugh Gordon and Mikołaj Jaroszewicz. We congratulate the makers and we have our fingers crossed.
