Package offers
GM Records is able to offer all packaging available on the market. We also fulfil orders at a customer’s special request by offering original and unique packaging prepared for its specific production.
In our portfolio there are products made from paper, cardboard, plastic and metal as well as other materials.
SLEEVES
These are created from at least three materials:
1. Paper sleeves
2. Cardboard sleeves
3. Foil sleeves
Aside from selection of the materials they are made from, you can also decide about the size, format and colour, together with whether or not it should include a cover, window, sticky strip or description of the contents or function enabling its use in file segregators.
UNIPACKS
Packaging similar to a book, made of cardboard, usually laminated on one or two sides. Available in CD or DVD formats. Cardboard covers are distinct from Digipacks in not having a plastic tray – TRAY, but only a cut-out or packet for a disc. As an option, in using Unipacks you can use different types of printing (books – booklets, inserts, holders etc.).
DIGIPACKS
Packaging similar to a book; like Unipacks also made of cardboard, usually laminated on one or two sides. Available in CD or DVD formats. Cardboard covers however always have a tray stuck on the inside – DIGITRAY, on which a disc is placed. As an option, in using Digipacks you can also use different types of printing (books – booklets, inserts, holders, bands etc.).
CD BOXES
Plastic boxes most frequently with the aim of being used for music CDs. However this is not a rule. Packaging can be for one or many media. Different tray colours can be chosen. You can also decide about the thickness while choosing – thinner boxes, so-called slims. The type of printing applied in this type of packaging can also be chosen.
DVD BOXES
Plastic boxes with the aim of most frequently being used for DVDs, but also, as in the case of CD boxes it is not a rule. Within the selection of boxes there are different types in various colours and number of places for discs, or size and thickness. Dedicated printing can also be used with this packaging.
NON-STANDARD
Packaging sometimes requires an individual approach – a response to these needs is the application of non-standard solutions. Among the boxes which are often dissimilar from each other there are both metal and wooden boxes with sophisticated shapes or improvements.
You can also choose so-called Variopacks – packaging with a mechanism pushing the disc out; transparent. The option could be any colour for the mechanism itself… Or perhaps Burgopacks in the form of books, while cards are a type of packet for the discs. The limitation to non-standard solutions is imagination and very rarely technology.
The visualisation of some packaging is available in the [PACKAGING SOLUTIONS], however selected specifications for the preparation of files with printing or packaging projects is available in the [SPECIFICATIONS].
